How to make the AGV paths use Default Accumulation as standard option

We make more and more AGV models where the accumulation is used in stead of control points. The problem is that all paths have the accumulation type on "No Accumulation" So we have to remember with every new path part that you make to change the Accumulation Type or select everything afterwards and change it's type ( which has it's own problems,like you are not sure everything is selected and how to select only the paths) or write a script.

I would expect that where you define the path classes, you should also be able to select what the standard accumulation type should be, but I can't find it there. Is this option present somewhere and are we overlooking it or is it not present?

The path class is separate and distinct from the accumulation type on a path. Setting the path class doesn't change the accumulation type.

I do not believe that you can currently set a default accumulation type for newly created paths. I don't think you can set default values for any of the path's properties: two-way, path class, accumulation type, or agv orientation. I will add the suggestion for having default values for AGV path properties to the dev list.

For now, you could set the following nodes to set the default accumulation type when creating new paths:

MAIN:/project/library/AGV/StraightPath>variables/accumTypeRank

MAIN:/project/library/AGV/CurvedPath>variables/accumTypeRank

@phil.bobo

Thanks!. I should have thought about the library nodes.
