You can just request it from us and we will do so. But since you asked for a how-to guide, I've outlined below the self-service way to unregister your account.

Unfortunately there is not currently a one-button solution. Perhaps we'll be able to add that feature in the future. For now you need to edit your profile and anonymize your data, removing any personally identifiable information.

FlexSim Account profile

Visit your FlexSim Account profile at https://www.flexsim.com/account/#/.

Here you will press the button to change your email address. You have to change it to a valid, confirm-able email address, so use a disposable email address from a service like Mailinator or Guerrilla Mail. I've found the email form is quite particular - it doesn't allow capital letters. Anyway, then change the rest of your personal information such as name, organization, etc.

Answers profile

On this Answers community, get to your profile settings by clicking your avatar in the upper right and choosing "Profile":

Then click the Edit button:

Once again, anonymize any personal data.

Once all personally identifiable data has been removed, you have for all intents and purposes "unregistered" your account.

Email lists

When you first signed up for your FlexSim Account, your email may have been added to our mailing list. As such, your original, valid email address may still receive announcements from FlexSim.

If you find you still receive unwanted emails from FlexSim, simply use the unsubscribe links at the bottom of these emails to remove your contact information from our email lists.
