Process Flow running speed VS standard 3D modeling

Hello, is there any speed advantage when running a model using Process Flow instead of the standard 3D modeling?

In this case the purpose is to get the simulation results faster, the layout window is closed to take the videocard out of the equation.

I know a Process Flow model can be build quit different at that would could have a tremendous impact of running speed. I´m curious about your thoughts about the running speed (not the building speed) of a simulation model using this methods.

There isn't a significant time advantage using one method over the other. It really depends on the number and type of objects or activities. Process flow is often faster individually, but can take more activities to accomplish a task that a 3D object can do in one step. I think using a combination of the two is the best method for creating a fast model. I'm sorry that I can't give you a clear answer, but it really depends on the model!
