When using A*, can we change the barriers or obstacles dynamically

I want to know how to change the fixed resources of barriers to not barriers during simulation running when using A*.

What I try to do is to change the Queues to the barriers ON or OFF.

When the flow items are in the queue, the queue is the barrier but the flow items are not in the queue it is not the barrier.

I want to know how to control it.

A* only allows barriers to change on reset.

In 19.0, it will be possible to conditionally apply barriers for certain travelers, and that condition is evaluated at the beginning of a travel task. You could use that feature to accomplish your goal.

Thanks for new next upgraded feature.

But my ultimate goal is to use it when making a KIVA transporter of AMAZON. Phil Bobo guided to use A* module in this forum when making KIVA model. So I am looking for applying the dynamic barriers of it.

Jordan, do you have any idea for making KIVA system using FlexSim?
