Moving patient from gurney to bed

@Matthew Gillespie

Is there a way to transfer the patient from gurney to bed by staffs without the patient getting down and getting up? Thanks

David

I´ve set an process time and used the Move Object Activity afterwards. If you want to have better visualisation maybe Load and Unload Activitys/ Tasks could help.

You have access to all the tools Process Flow gives you. In the attached model I use Load, Unload, and Change Visual activities to have the staff carry the patient.

carrypatientongurney.fsm

Perhaps in the future we can add this as a checkbox on the Transport Person activity.

I think making this process an option on the Transport Person activity would be a good idea.

Matthew,
Instead of just having one provider to move the patient from the gurney to the table, I suggest 2 additional options within this process. In both of these options, the gurney would be put close to the table. Then, if the patient were able, she would move herself from the gurney to the bed and someone would move the gurney out of the way. If the patient was not able to move herself from the gurney to the bed, there would be 2 people on each side of the gurney/table to lift the patient in the gurney sheet onto the table and one of these would move the gurney out of the way. This process will be reversed when the patient was moved back to the gurney.
