I would like to add 45 minutes (2700 seconds) of break time for each 8 hours (28800 seconds) of the simulation, where nothing at all happens but the run time continues on. What is the best way to accomplish this?
Thanks

I think there are different good ways. Depends an little bit on what should happen as soon as "break" is called. Some possible and easy ways are:
1. use the MTBF MTTR option and set the values
2. use the Time Table and set all your breaks (e.g. in a graphical view) manually
3. use the User Event function
I added a time table and set break times for the corresponding operator and robot to stop for 15 minutes at certain times of the day. This works nicely, thank you for your help.
