Item stops on continuous loop

loop.fsmHello guys,

How is it possible to fix a loop conveyor so that items don't stop when they change modules (they stop for half a second but when the number of items is increased it creates bottlenecks) ?...even with the Adjust Dog Gap enabled.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hello guys,

I just found a trick to fix this. You have to use virtual lenght.

So for any loop you will need to have the total lenght of the conveyor as a multiple of the Dog size.

This is hard because you have also curve conveyor. On these curve you need to use virtual length with a value close to the real lenght of the curve.

Thanks.

Hi,

It's never too late (?)

The documentation says the motor connection order is important.

So, the first thing to do is to reorder the conveyors.

But there is still something blocking the items while new items enter the loop.

It's because the EntryTransfert1 is too close to the Tranfert between Conveyor2 and Conveyor3

If you shift this EntryTransfert, the loop runs continuously with the option "Adjust Dog Gap For Continuous Loop"
