Patient Flow Separation

Hello!

It is necessary to divide the flow of patients so that some patients (30%) go to doctors of one profile, and the rest (70%) go to doctors of another profile. Thanks!

See the model attached. I did it using FlexSim 2019 Update 2, but should open fine in 20.0.0. Open the model and see Process Flow. Go to the activity 'Decide' and choose the picklist to 'By Percentage'. There you can choose whatever you want to.

There are several ways to handle this, but one good way is to first categorize your patients and assign them a unique "Label Set". Then use "Decide" activities in your patient process flow to make decisions based on patient label values. This approach is covered nicely in the Healthcare Tutorial found in the User Manual. You might consider building this tutorial model on your own, if you haven't already. Here is a link to the online version of the tutorial in the manual:

I believe the decision occurs in step 6 of task 1.3
