@shelly L3 It will be hard to give you the best help without your model, but I would use process flow and zones. You can set up a zone for each conveyor, and zones allow you to limit the quantity in them. You could also achieve similar behavior with lists.

You can use the Slug Builder property on a Conveyor Type to build slugs of parts going down together based on a specific item count. See the attached model. slug-builder-item-count.fsm
If the conveyor type is non-accumulating, then the slug will build up at the beginning of the conveyor before being released. If the conveyor type is accumulating, then the slug will build up at the end of the conveyor before being released.
