Loading from one tote to another

@brandon.peterson, @regan.blackett, @phil.bobo

I came across an interesting model of loading one tote from another here, and I decided to try a variation of the picking/loading station keeping the model logic intact. The logic works the way it is supposed to, however I am trying to achieve two additional things :

1. Prevent the picker travel into the conveyor while unloading from grey totes to green totes

2. Send loaded green totes out on the conveyor path shown in the figure below.

I was thinking of adding reversibility to the conveyors but I believe that would add unnecessary complexity to the model. Is there a better way to achieve this without using a reversible conveyor?

Many thanks!

@amit.k2,

OK, I've changed your model to do, what I'm understanding you are saying. If something is not quite right or doesn't work the way you want, please send us more information so that we can get it the way you want.

You'll probably notice that I changed a LOT of your model. Because this is the way that I would go about doing what I'm understanding you want.

Changed a lot of the Process Flow blocks. You may just have to go through them and see what's changed.

I didn't change too much in the 3D model but I did change a few things. You mentioned that you want the green totes to flow to that second conveyor up (from your graphic). The only way to do that is to either just "move" them (which might look weird to just have the totes fly over to the conveyor) or to add another conveyor going that direction (which is what I've done). Also, you didn't include anything on your graphic for that first conveyor (far left) with a green tote. So I didn't do anything for that one. You can either fix that one yourself of help us to understand what needs to be done with that first green tote.

Other than that, take a look at the model and see if something like this would work for your situation even if its not exactly quite right. If I didn't understand what you were looking for, please add additional information so that we can get it right.

Thanks.

@amit.k2,

Why can't you download it? Do you get an error message? We haven't heard of anyone not being able to download an attached model. If it can be attached, is should be able to be downloaded. I will attach it again in case something weird happened. Thanks for letting us know.

@jeff.nordgren Thanks for uploading the model again. I was able to download this version. I still receive following message if I try to download earlier upload.

I hope this helps for debugging purposes.
