Import object from one FlexSim file to another

Hi! I have a custom rack that is in FlexSim file and I am trying to import it into the main project file that I am working on, another FlexSim file. However, I am having difficulties importing the model from 'rackshape(1).fsm' over to 'amcmockup-updated-jn1-gk(6)'. I have attached both files for easy reference. Thank you!

rackshape (1).fsm

amcmockup-updated-jn1-gk (6)_autosave.fsm

You save objects as an user library. Then you can load a user library into another model. If your structure consists of more objects, you place them on a container object like a plane and save the plane as a library. If it will be successful with rack objects in combination with warehousing tool is unknown to me. You have to try it.

Hi @Jörg Vogel if possible could you provide a demonstration on how I would go about doing it. I have saved the object to the user library however, I am unable to view the same user library in my other file. Thank you.

Open both models and just click on it in the 3D view and paste it into the other FlexSim's 3D view.

But it looks like you've done this already as the object is already there......

Hi @jason.lightfoot, for the model in 'rackshape(1).fsm', the solid body and the rack are stuck together. However, when I imported it into the other file ' 'amcmockup-updated-jn1-gk(7)' only the rack appeared and the solid body had to be imported in separately and dimension again to fit the rack. The main concern is that the solid body are not stuck together to be a single model and can be separated as compared to the one in 'rackshape(1).fsm'.

I can't repeat that. If I copy from RackShape-1.fsm to your model they are welded together. If you can tell me the steps you take such that it doesn't work- then I can try to repeat it.
