Stack flowitemsitems in queue based on LBH and best fit analysis

Stacking in Queue based on LBH and using best fit.fsmHi team, I need your support in stacking the flowitems within the queue based on LBH and best fit. It can change orientation to fit it neatly within the queue. Also it there any method to stop sending flowitems based on volumetric utilization than the maximum count?

You can put a pull requirement on the queue that checks the volume of the incoming items against the remaining volume available which you could track as a label on the queue as parts arrive.

Can you control the sequence on the incoming items ? You're describing something similar to the "distributors pallet loading problem".

Hi Jason, Thanks for your quick support. I will try this . In my previous question, i also need support to stack items neatly based on LBH. If you look at the model i attached it is not neatly stacked, lot of void spaces within the queue. Could you please support me with the simple model that answers both questions? Thanks.

I don't yet have the solution to this - perhaps someone else will post one.

Hi @Gandhi_mathi_nathan C Stacking in a queue by size is difficult especially when you have so many different sizes. Some blank space may be needed. Here are examples that try to do something similar to what you are looking for.
