Does Anyone Use a Curved Monitor?

Getting ready to purchase a new 4K monitor and was wondering if there is a downside to using a curved monitor w/FlexSim?

@Jeremy G5 Hi.

I have used three curved monitors for 3 years.

The monitors are LG monitor and Samsung. I prefer LG monitor.

LG is 34uc98 model and Samsung is same 34inch but I don't remember the model number.

Their resolution are same 3440x1440.

I recommend you for LG ultrawide 40wp95c (5120x2160) or 49WL95CW (5120x1440).

Because I am using two monitors. One is 34uc98 and the other is LG 27UD58(3840x2160).

The wider is good for FlexSim working.

David:

Thanks for your help. I work from home and have a desk that's barely able to accommodate a 32" monitor. I'm looking at a Samsung Odyssey Neo G7, a model that was just released last month. I'm going to be using FlexSim for manufacturing warehouse and factory simulation, a very linear process. Obviously a curved monitor doesn't influence the model, but didn't know if one would distort the visual representation of the model on the display,

Nothing any distort in the curved monitor.

The wider is good for your working. FlexSim has several panels in two sides and the modeling panel become narrower. So I recommend the more wider.
