Conveyor crossing (bug?)

Hi. I played with the conveyors and noticed some strange behaviour. See the model attached conveyorCrossing.fsm. If the conveyor6 and 7 x-location is exactly the same, the item cannot travel across the conveyor3. It will turn and travel to horizon instead. If the conveyor7 x-location is just a little on the right (5.00001) the item will find its destination correctly.

It's not bug. It is absolute normal. The conveyor3 conveys the item when the item enter the side edge.

If you connect with conveyor6 and 7 at one point ( at one transfer), the item flow normal as you think.

Thanks @David Seo . I tried to figure out, how to connect/resize/connect the conveyors, with no success. I modified the model a bit. How would you edit the model to make the green items flow up to DP3 and red items to DP2? (if you don't translate the Conveyor6 and 7 in x direction) conveyorCrossing_2.fsm

I'm pretty sure you can't. It's a hard limitation of the conveyor system that, in order to cross a conveyor like this, the second transfer has to be a distance > 0 further along than the first one.

I'm going to send in another ticket to the developers linking to this post as more evidence that this should be supported.
