Rack storage behavior for items of different sizes

Racks store items of various sizes.

In the image below, judging from the item size stored in the blue frame, it appears that the items in the red frame are stored, but since the height of the items in the green frame is the standard for stacking, the items may be stored beyond the rack size. It has been.

In the above situation, I would like to store the items in the red frame in a separate space. Is there a solution?

@Ryusuke T, method "hasSpace(item)" should prevent such a scenario. Perhaps we can validate your problem. Can you upload an example, this would be helpful reducing time building an own test model? Thank you.

I will upload the model used for this verification.

You can also try chaning the slot stacking order to see if that helps:

Thank you for your advice. However, as a condition of this time, the top priority of the stacking order must be x+, so the advice you received cannot be applied.

Hello @Ryusuke T,

If you add in slot padding then the item does not intrude on the shelf.

@Jeanette F ,

Thank you for answering.

In this model, the sizes of the items brought in vary, so there is a possibility that the padding will have an effect, but the effect seems to be small, so I would like to deal with it here.

thank you.
