A user is getting the error message "Version of Vendor Daemon is too old (-83, 147)".
I have been through the answers and all references to Licence Server and lmtools seem to be a few years old.
Please direct us to the latest "FlexNet Vendor Files" and any issues you know of when updating.

I've seen that error before and the version was not the ultimate problem. If users will simply follow the instructions exactly it will work.
That said, I did just check and there are updated versions of lmadmin and lmtools, so I will work on putting out a new version of the server tools download.
In the meantime, however, it may be best to schedule time with your customer and our support team to have a Zoom call to troubleshoot their server, since in my experience the "version" error was a result of some other issue.
BTW, a copy of the user's log.log file could be helpful in troubleshooting further. If you're able to post that back, first change your question to private to keep the content confidential.
