Load object at different visual than the default with a crane.

I'm using a crane and I'd like to load the object where the red circle is.

The default visual loads at the green X. Is there an option to change the loading point?

Another method you could try, is that you can always change the visual of the object. So after the object is loaded, you can change the visual location of the loaded object's x, y and z. coordinates relative to the crane. This can be done by adding a Set Location effect to the OnLoad trigger. Or using the Change Visual activity in Process Flow.

The change happens at 0 time, so it appears as if the crane loaded the item in the spot designated.

By default, the Crane will pick up objects in the middle of the yellow box (when highlighted). You can change the location of the yellow box, relative to the Crane, by changing the Shape Factors of the crane. In the graphic below, I changed the Y location from 0.50 to zero, which moved the yellow box .50 in the negative direction. The flowitem will still load in the middle of the yellow box, it's just that the yellow box location has moved.

This gives the results I think you are after.

@Jeff Nordgren thanks for your reply. The issue is that I'd need the offset to be 50 meters so visually it wouldn't work. The object is 100 meters long :(
