Best practice in changing a set of processor, operators etc.

I feel that this is a basic question and that I should know it, but in my simulations I have made over 40 processors and operators to run them. Now I need to change different things to each set of ten. I tried to shift select then click and change but the only thing that I have found that works with is the x,y coordinates.

When I click into the properties then save, it only saves the one that I double clicked on. Can you help? This would save me an incredible amount of time

Thanks,

Brian

I'm afraid that you'd have to change things manually in your case. Something to consider would be grouping the processors and then using process flow to acquire individual available processors within the group. This would allow you to write the logic in process flow once and then have it apply to all objects in the group from which it is acquiring processors.

Please watch the FlexSim videos Duplicating Objects or Editing Tricks and Shortcuts, how to modify selected objects. If you use groups you can easily select the group members and apply changes from the highlighted object to them.

The Group tool belongs to the Toolbox.

You get a new group by selecting some or all members. Then you draw the mouse pointer over an object, highlight this and press the right mouse button. You select from the opening menu the option Object Group. Add to New Group puts all selected objects into a new group. The group gets a standard name. You can edit this group in the Toolbox, for example the name, the members...

Edit Selected Object isn't a feature of the Express license of FlexSim.
