Distributed experiments on local machine

Hello,

I am trying to run Experiments on local machine using the new (18.2) distributed CPU feature. I already did it with Amazon Web services using your guide and it worked perfectly.

1) in the experimenter I click on "use distributed cpu"

2) I put the IP address, the connection works (status "connected")

But nothing happen when I run the simulation. (flexsim webserver is open on the target machine).

Thank you for your help,

FlexSim 18.2.2

If you go to the IP address in a browser from the computer with FlexSim, does the browser show the webserver page?

The "Test Connection" button is fairly simple. It just attempts to connect with a machine at port 80 a the given IP address. If it can, if assumes that the connection is good.

Is the webserver on the target machine running on port 80? Or is there some other server at port 80 on the target machine? The webserver needs to be running on port 80 for the distributed CPU option to work.

Thank you Jordan, it works now, a setup on wifi network prevented the connection.
