How to skip a process on an item coming from a particular processor?

Hello, I have a simple question. I am new to flex-sim and I need to complete an assignment.

The items coming from the Workstation, should not be processed by any of the other processors and leave the system. They should just move along the conveyors without being processed.

How can I do this? By using item-type, lists?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I think there is supposed to be a queue in the intersection of the conveyors. (the lower intersection)

  1. You set process time at the processor to 0.
  2. You connect the conveyor exittransfer previous to the processor with the entrytransfer of the conveyor after the processor. The Exittransfer Send to Port function sets the exit port.

Hi,

First of all thank you so much for your answer.

If I understand correctly, I need another way. Because:

The items coming from the combiner (not the workstation) should be processed. So I cannot make the process time at the processor to 0.

How can I make it conditional?:: Only the items coming from the workstation are not processed and the items coming from the combiner are processed.

please upload a model example, I can’t get what you mean. There are conditional options in the process time function. You set a label to the item at the previous object exit, on which you can set the process time in your processor.

I did it with adjusting the code of the if item type changes command.

Thank you for your help.
