Creating labels from the source

Hi,

I have a source and want it to create 7 different coloured boxes with a labels 1-7. Label 1, 2-5 and 6-7 will go to a different queue respectively.

I have made a global look up table and on the source triggers tab, set on creation 'set label' then directed to look up the global table.

This seems to work however it only creates flow items with label 1. I've also set send to port by case so hopefully when there's more than one label they should flow to the correct area.

Can anyone help me out please?

Thanks

There is missing a column in your table "ingridient types". The table needs 2 columns. The first column contains the probabilitiy, the second row is the discrete value, that the statistical distribution function returns if the row is drawn. Currently the returned value is always 0. This return value is the same as from the first available picklist option in the Send To Port function under the Flow tab.

The values of the column 1 should add up to 100%. Please read about the dempirical distribution in the manual.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. With the combiner 'mixer' is it possible to create a timetable like feature. I've attached the updated version of the model.

Basically over 24hr there needs to be 3 product runs each pulling a different tray and a different variation of ingredients from the store. I've started a production run global lookup table but each needs to last for at least 8 hrs not change each time.

Thanks

@Laura H3, would you please be so kind to ask a new question, because your previous comment hasn’t any common relation to the question you have asked, beside it is about another topic to your model. Many thanks! Regards Jörg
