Answers site: editing post, attachments are lost!

I have problems editing my posts - answers, comments, and so on. Each time I edit them all my attachments, links and pictures are lost when I save my post again. I must attach all of them anew. During this procedure I get often after an uploading attempt the error message that something went wrong. I must repeat the upload again, and then it is accomplished. I have this issue on different systems:

Windows 10 Home 64: Firefox 74.0.1
IPad iOS 13.4: Safari

Please fix this issue!

Our site was upgraded yesterday to a new version that is supposed to include a fix for this bug. We've done some preliminary testing and found that to be the case.

Thanks again @Jörg Vogel for bringing this issue to our attention.
