Thanks for your help~Yesterday, our engineers advised users to install V2018.2 software, and the problem has been solved; We really haven't noticed the problem of installation path you mentioned.

@Fu P

If your active directory needs special permissions to access, then you can configure the active directory fields.

It looks like you have an IP address in the field for port. You should have just a port there, like 80.

Thank you for your reply.

I'm using FlexSim for a LAN connection to a Server which installed FlexNet Publisher License Server Manager .

This is my flexsim License Activation:

I don't know if that's the reason why I can't set up webserver correctly

If all the directories in your config file are valid, the webserver will start up, you just wont be able to start flexsim. Did you try changing the port field to 80? If so, did you still get an error? Was it the same error?

The FlexSim Webserver is separate from the license server, just to be clear.

Sorry for the late reply. I have tried to set the port to 80 without IP, but the same error still exists .I tried other numbers, with or without IP, but it still didn't work

Hi @Fu P,

I would start with the default flexsim webserver configuration.txt and only change the minimum directives to get it working.

Also, make sure there are no other servers running on your PC, or change the port number to an unused port.

On your question you marked your FlexSim version as 19.2.4. Be sure to use the FlexSim Webserver 2018 version 18.2.0:

In your question you posted your config text and had the following:

Flexsim Program Directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\FlexSim Web Server\FlexSim 2019 Update 2\program

This would be very unusual for FlexSim Simulation Software to be installed under the FlexSim Web Server. The most likely location for your FlexSim 2019 install would make this line:

Flexsim Program Directory: C:\Program Files\FlexSim 2019 Update 2\program

or depending on your system, you may be able to keep the shortcut path:

Flexsim Program Directory: %PROGRAMFILES%\FlexSim 2019 Update 2\program
