releasewave: how does the command work?

Hi,

did anybody use the command releasewave?

I tried to use it in a model with poor results! Probably I didn't understand the command application!

I attached a simple model where I would like to simulated to synchronized flow with a not mandatory sync in the middle of the process. I noted that:

1. an error occurs in system console;

2. releasewave doesn't respect the connection;

3. join doesn't recognize the token with the same splitID;

Probably I didn't use correctly the command and I could obtain the same results with releasetoken, but I am curious how the command is designed.

Any information from FlexSim team is appreciated (@matt.long, @jordan.johnson, @anthony.johnson).

Thanks!

This is a bug. I've fixed it for the next bug fix release.

Thanks Matt!

Does the command work with I supposed? That is:

1. each waiting token is released in the relative entry connection;

2. join activity is able to recognize the split id also after a wave is released;

Could you update the command documentation with further details, too? Thanks in advance!

Yes it's supposed to work as you expected. The join activity didn't work because the releasing of the wave was buggy. I'll see what I can do about the documentation.
