Virtual distances taking into account speeds

Hello everyone!

I am new to this software and I was thinking about setting virtual distances since I have an industrial process all set up and it works just fine, the issue is that I have a max capacity of time of 372.600 min per year and a annual demand for multiple products, turns out that the transport between every machine is made with an AGV and I have to set the distances between the nodes (3 stations) and the speed for those AVG that would make the simulation meet the demand of finished products. My question is... is it possible for me to use virtual distances setting like a max speed so that flexsim would calculate the distances and the speed that will make the simulation accomplish the requirements?

Ps. the only hint I have is that the average time between nodes is 2.7 min

@Camila MT, I can see why you'd like the speeds and times to exactly match what is happening in real life, but that begs the question: what are you simulating? If you're simulating exactly what's happening in real life, then there's not really much value added by the simulation because you aren't learning anything new.

That said, I understand that you may just want to get the speeds/distances correct before changing variables and simulating. If that's the case, you can use virtual distances between Network Nodes. It sounds like you know the time between nodes is 2.7 mins. If you also know the speed of the AGVs, you can calculate the distance using [Distance = (Speed * Time)] for the "virtual distance" needed between each node.
