Number of pallets containing items on rack.

Hello,

In my system I have a rack that gets populated with pallets at the start of the simulation and when new parts arrive they get placed on a pallet in the rack. I am trying to get statistics for:

1. Number of parts on pallets in the rack throughout the simulation.

2. Average staytime of these parts on the rack.

When I attempt to solve this, I keep only getting back the number and average staytime of the pallets, rather than the parts.

Please help,

Joe

You unpack your pallets before they entering the racks. You have to manage the content of pallets and release them, when they are getting empty. Then any rack statistic is correct for available items.

You can also use the packing logic of the pallet to perform some updates or track items it receives. You might want to post your model or an example - with your attempts and someone can that quickly add/ change it to what you need.
