However, I cannot even seem to find the "Process Flow Variables" group.

Where are the process flow variables (for maintenance operations) ?

Sorry my bad, the version is 21.0.3. Does it change anything ?
And yes, it does work in a new model...
The version should be alright, thanks for double checking, though! Do you see that section in the properties if you drag out a new bed? The location objects have their own built in process flows and the object may have been removed from that process flow for some reason. If dragging out a new bed doesn't work, would you mind posting your model so we can take a closer look?
