Patient arrival decision tree based on ESI

Hi. I am modeling an emergency department and want to direct patients based on ESI to different locations. I have the excel file of patient data and where they were treated. They used direct bedding and the triage for low acuity patients. Full registration happens by bedside. I thought the decision tool would be reasonable to devide the paths for registration (kiosk, desk or direct bed). I have followed the tutorial and have three global tables and patient arrival table. How do i make this accurate?

Also the excel files do not mention the exact process time but mostly when tasks were finished or when provider arrived, etc. what is your recommendation on data retreival to make the model valid?

Hi @Zahra Z

You will first need to set an ESI label on the patient using an Assign Labels activity. Then the Decide activity would look something like this:

As for the process time, is there a start and end time? If so, you could easily create a label that subtracts the two values.

If you can post your model, I can provide more help.

Thanks Parker, I see syntax errors when I create my patient labels. I did follow up with the tutorial video but something is not right. I assume the coding has an issue. How do I write the syntax to link the ESI label to the table values? See my image.Thanks1
