RANDOM VALUES IN EACH RESET

HELLO, I HAVE A DOUBT.


EVEN USING A VARIABLE WITH NORMAL DISTRIBUTION THE RESULT IS REPEATED, IS IT POSSIBLE TO CREATE NEW VALUES AT EACH RESET?

Usually you want the random numbers to be repeatable so that you can test and debug your model. Then when you want to run more replications of your model to generate statistics you use the Experimenter to run replications with different random number streams. But again, you want these replications to have repeatable random numbers too so that you can replay specific replications to see why certain things happen.

That said, there is a setting to turn off repeatable random numbers: Statistics > Repeat Random Numbers. However, we usually recommend you use the experimenter instead of changing this setting.
