Dynamic Floor Storage Capacity

Here is I want to do with Floor Storage,

I want to give the Volume as well as Weight constraint for storage slot, to calculate total number of slot required to store material and optimize storage and find out combination of item stored in slot keeping weight and volume as constraint.

Will it be possible?

FlexSim 21.2.3
floor storage
5 |100000

Up to 12 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 23.8 MiB each and 47.7 MiB total.

Weight would be a slot label [Setting up Labels on Slot]. You set this label in toolbox warehouse yourself. Volume is a Warehouse System slot class method called hasSpace.

Hi Joerg, Thanks for solutions, I have prepared model and assign weight label in Toolbox>Storage System>Slot Label but not able assign weight limit and volume limit for slot

I want assign weight limit of 150 and volume limit of 250 to slot, is there any way to assign those constraint

No, you can't set a limit in labels. A label is static storage space without any intelligence. If you find a slot or you query slots you can set conditional clauses to get slots matching these limiting conditions. If you want to restrict a slot volume you can set the slot dimensions matching your needs. Or you copy the approach with weight label. Now that your question is evolving in a direction of a realisation and away from "is it possible", you might consider to ask a new question in a new thread.
