How to call current simulation time within flexsim script? I don't want to call it from the display.
time() seemed to call accumulated time.

You probably want datetime operator, properties and methods.
Call time() onEntry and save the value to a label on the item.
Call time() again onExit. Subtract the entry time you saved on the label. Now you have the total time in the object.
The time an item spends in an object? I don't see how anyone could get that from your question.
