Negative milestone to milestone time

I am very frustrated because i found out that the average time "milestone to milestone" is being negative. How is that even possible? What can i do about it? I am referring to FlexSim HC.

The dashboard chart for "Milestone-Milestone Times" make the calculation based on the order that you put the milestones in. If a patient hits the "Arrival" milestone before "Bed Placement" but if you switch the order in the chart settings under "Milestone Combinations" you'll get a negative answer.

If you still have the wrong statistic showing, let us know and send us a model so we can try to replicate it.

Is there a "Milestone-Milestone Times" alternative that those of us who don't have FlexSim HC can use to get the same functionality? If not, why not?

Thanks!

This stat is easy to get in Process Flow. Either use a Zone with an Enter Zone and Exit Zone around the section you're interested in OR use an Event Triggered Source listening to the first "milestone" followed by a Wait For Event activity listening to the second "milestone" - the staytime of tokens on the Wait For Event is your Milestone-Milestone time.

The reason this is in HC only is because HC organizes the model logic into activities and each activity can have a milestone.
