Milestone to milestone times

if i want to record milestone to milestone times, for example Bed Placement to MD Exam, and i have set for both activities to record milestone BEFORE PROCESS TIME, is both of their process time being calculated in my results?

Let's say now, I want to calculate the time from arrival to bed placement, including the processing time of bed placement, how do i set the 'milestone recording event' for these activities?do i use after or before process time?

I've put together a little graphic to help you visualize what is going on. In this example there are two escort activities back-to-back that both have a process time:

The only way that both process times are recorded is if you set the first activity to record before the process time and the second activity to record after the process time (Before - After). If both are set to Before (Before - Before) or both are set to After (After - After) only one process time is recorded. Also, the After - Before option doesn't include either processing time.

If you want to include the processing time of your bed placement activity then you'd need to set it to After on that activity.

Excellent graphic — should be referenced in every question about milestones...
