For your first question, you can use Financial Chart in Dashboard to study costs:

Really, if you want a basic estimation you can use a counter and multiply by cost/benefit.
For the second question, you can create 3D model, Process Flow model and/or mix them. Using the user's manual, you have tutorials to guide you how to achieve it.
