using virtual length on a mass flow conveyor

when setting a virtual length (virtual length longer than as drawn dimension) feature of a mass flow conveyor, the items on the conveyor will continue to move out into space, beyond the length of the drawn conveyor. How do you use virtual length so the items stay within the drawn conveyor? thx

This is a bug. The bug might be that we don't support virtual length on Mass Flow Conveyors, and that the UI is showing it in error. Or the bug may be that virtual length is improperly implemented. Either way, I'll add this to the dev list. Right now, however, I don't think there is a way to properly use virtual length with mass flow conveyors.
