We are looking to model a whole hospital, and would like to build the model programmatically, and use hospital data to populate length of stay distribution and pathways, and arrival rates.
Can we create simulation model programmatically using real-world data?

I have seen many requests and projects for such an enterprise in the past. You must invest so much more time to do both learn the Software tool and build an interface to automatically create a layout and parametrizing objects. I don’t say, that it is impossible, but it takes time. If you don’t intend to build several other models by the same scheme, I would suggest to build one or two levels by an classic manual approach and then to try to insert some data by interfaces.
