Average WIP Calcultaion

How is the Average WIP Calculation done for a FlowTank ? Is it same as the average Content of the Tank ?

The content of a FloWorks tank is internally tracked with a kinetic tracked variable, as per the documentation the charts show:

the time-weighted average content (or WIP) of each object
