ExpertFit Problem

Hi, when opening ExperFit and also when pressing the Analyze button me and all the people of the training gets "An unsupported operation was attempted" message.

I tried reinstalling and also did what @Phil BoBo suggested on another post on the command prompt changing the routing.

Execute the following commands:

  1. cd C:\Program Files\FlexSim 2022 Update 2\expertfit

  1. Register_OCX.bat

That should register the ExpertFit ocx files if the FlexSim Installer failed to do so.

The registration runs correctly but ExpertFit keeps throwing the same message. Any idea of what to do?

Thanks.

When I write the above cd command I get this error meessage: "A positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument 'Files\FlexSim'"

I know its something to do with the spaces in the path but I can't find out how to correct it.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

OK, it works as is it written in Command Prompt but not in Powershell.

But it still doesn't solve the problem of Experfit not working. I still get the error An unsupported operation was attempted.

And I am using the correct version and update number in the file path.

Hello @Patrick Cloutier

The first line is to change the directory to where the version of FlexSim is that you want to fix expert fit for. In the example provided FlexSim is in the C drive program files folder. Please check that you don't need to use a different path.

Have you tried to run the command prompt as administrator?

@Jorge Toucet,
I've had to handle with this problem myself lately and I've been able to solve it. If you executed the exact same command that you wrote above my guess is that you confuse FlexSim 2022 Update 2 with Update 1

The command should be:

    1. cd C:\Program Files\FlexSim 2022 Update 1\expertfit

    1. Register_OCX.bat

Hi, I've tried the register_ocx but the problem persists.

I've also tried, to reinstall Flexsim, and unregister_ocx → re-register_ocx
I've also tried it as admin... no luck.

In another computer works fine, but this one keeps popping up the error.

It worked for me when I ran the command prompt as administrator.

Version 2023.0 worked fine using the .msi installer file instead of .exe installer.
