the container is unloaded and is brought to the yard block on the truck once it reaches the side of the RTG (I put more uptime on the rtg so it creates a queue)
but visually the other trucks occupy the same space as the 1st unit that arrives.
what type of node connection (non-passing/non connection) should be used so that the others wait to be served and see the waiting queue

I know what you mean. After arriving at the Block, the truck will do a offset travel to the desired bay for the stack/unstack task. While doing the offset travel, the truck is not travelling on the network node network. Instead it's doing a direct move. Therefore the non-passing attribute for the network doesn't apply here and because of that the gang trucks overlap each other.
