Is it possible that the license server runs in Linux?

I'm not asking if FlexSim can run under Linux, that I know it cannot. I'm specifically asking about the lmtools and FlexNet license server. Alternatively, it would help any compatible tool for linux that can cope with lmtools files and settings.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your prompt response, Ben. But..., in the past, it was possible, wasn't it?

@Manuel Noguera,

It was never possible for FlexSim licenses to be hosted on a Linux license server.

While FlexNet itself is compatible with Linux, FlexSim's licensing toolchain has never been built for other platforms besides Windows.

So, for instance, the flexsimserveractutil.exe utility along with its DLLs is currently Windows only. Without those it is not possible to activate a FlexSim license into the license server's Trusted Storage. Those are the parts that will be rebuilt alongside FlexSim itself in the multi-platform push.
