@Patryk, could you please provide some more information? I'm trying to replicate the issue you're running into but am unable to right now. I've tried protecting the workbook, the sheet, and a range, but every time I try to export to an excel sheet from the Excel Interface in FlexSim, it either lets me without trouble
or it prompts me telling me I wasn't able to write to the file (without giving me the option to put in a password).
Please provide replication steps so I can better assist you. Thank you!
This is the option from the file menu to protect and encrypt the workbook I believe.
I don't think it is possible. The password protection is an Excel feature that FlexSim and its APIs don't account for. Even if you try to do "excelopen" in FlexScript, it will require a password.
