In this model, when I try to add the flypath, there are no properties interface shown. Then running model will make the model crash. Unless I add the flypath, model running is always all right

Issues like this are often times caused by a docked window not closing properly (mostly the System Console or other windows that appear at the bottom).
Most of the time this can be fixed by resetting the workspace ("Open Default Workspace" under "View")
