Recording with a file path does not work

Hi,

I would like to create a video file in a specific folder with the video recorder, but the FlexSim crashes when I start recording.

Thanks in advance.

Does it fix it if you change the yen symbols into slash characters?

Does FlexSim have write permission for the directory where you are trying to write the file?

Thank you for your information. I changed the file path into "C:\Users\hogehoge\Documents\c.mp4" whether directly writing or not, and succeed.

Perhaps the first path did not have write permissions.

I tested it with an existing path. I selected this path from file directory icon and wrote a file name with extension into "Save Video Files file" window.

I assume you wrote directly the path into the edit field of "Video Recorder" window. There is probabaly not a function which checks the edited string and creates automatically a path and a file.

I upload the gif file showing what I did. I did not write directly the path, but it does not work.

Do you have any ideas?

Here are my setup steps:

@Shinya O , if your system crashes, then you are experiencing graphic errors. Typically an update of your graphic cards drivers is necessary. There is an article about graphic problems.

Thank you for the instructions and the information about the graphics.

I tried the following but none of them worked.

  • I update the NVIDIA driver and I tried your setup steps.
  • I run FlexSim as Administrator.
  • I run FlexSim as Administrator and set OpenGL Context as "Recommended" or "Core Profile (3.3)" or "Generic (No GPU Acceleration)".

Here is my FlexSim version:
