ExpertFit Register Problem with flexsim2023.0.3

I reference this operation to try accessing ExperFit:https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/122338/expertfit-problem.html

I also ran the command prompt as administrator, it doesn't seem to work.

The error message is: "An unsupported operation was attempted."

Is there any proper action to access ExperFit?

Kevin

When you run the script be sure you find the path to your version of FlexSim. Since you are using version 23.0, you should navigate to that install directory. If you installed FlexSim in the default location, the script would look like this:

cd C:\Program Files\FlexSim 2023\expertfit

Then you can run the batch script:

Register_OCX.bat

Be sure FlexSim is closed when you run this script, and be sure that you are using an adminstrator command prompt.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, then there may be an IT issue. In an administrator command prompt, run this command:

RegSvr32.exe

Even though it looks like an error, you should see this window:

This window means that RegSvr32 tried to run, but didn't understand the command. In rare cases, that window will not appear. That means IT policies have prohibited running RegSvr32.exe, and you'll need to talk to them to fix the issue.
