Want to add a function choice to the custom code in the process flow

Hi,

Currently, custom code needs to be created when performing area restrictions, etc. within the processing flow. I would like you to add it to the options in the same way as station triggers.

Thank you for advance.

@Ryusuke T, this looks like an idea! Or what question do you have?

Presuming this as a question, you can copy the entry and exit restriction area code from the triggers and paste it inside a custom code activity in the pf. But when using pf, a combination of stop item, resume item and zone can be used to easily accomplish what you are looking for.

Note: some modification in the trigger code is required to fit the code in the process flow. Especially the variables already defined by FlexSim.

Attaching a sample model here.

@Arun Kr ,

Thank you for sending the sample model.

I will consider it as a reference.

I posted it as an idea.

I apologize if I posted in the wrong area.

In Process Flow, you don't need the area restriction pick options. You can get the same functionality with shared assets. You can use a zone, list, or resource to control the logic more precisely rather than using those pick options that are designed specifically for triggers without the full power of Process Flow available.
