In the attached model, a piece of horizontal conveyor ReversibleConveyor1 is reversible (using conveyor speed).
A flow item arrives and is processed at Station1. After ProcessFinish, the conveyor is reversed and the flow item is conveyed to its destination - Queue1. When the item arrives at decision point DP1, the direction of ReversibleConveyor1 is reset to original.
I am struggling with area restriction at the intersection when the items arrive at DP2. I have set DP1 as the area owner with max capacity 1, so flow items arriving at DP2 should wait till the processed flow item is conveyed to its destination - Queue1. However, it seems that the next arriving flow items wait at DP2 and the area is never released.
I don't understand why this area restriction would not work as DP1 is not on a reversible conveyor. Any suggestions?
