Degrade the texture quality

Is it possible to degrade the texture quality or make them more blurry? I would like to create a blurring effect on text based on the simulated visual impairment set in FlexSim. For example, the ability to reduce the resolution while maintaining the text size on the plane.

You could possibly use the fog settings on the 3D view to simulate visual impairment. If you set the grid/view fog to something like 0.2, that will look very foggy.

You could also consider changing the textures of 3D objects to blurrier textures.

Technically, you can edit the shaders in FlexSim (found in MAIN:/project/exec/globals/shaders) and try to add a blur effect, but that's really complicated. I tried, but was quickly overwhelmed. But if you know something about OpenGL and GLSL, you might be able to figure something out.
