While getting the reference of the conveyor system we noticed that the conveyor system node is not created under the tools node. Since the conveyor system is a part of the tools I was expecting it will come under the tools node. Is there any particular reason for this?
The objects in Tools don't receive perspective draw events so it needs to be in the model in order to draw the conveyors. Not only that - the conveyor system assumes that it is in the root of the model - ie. not in a container when drawing the locations of the conveyors. Finally the design also means that setting the viewfocus of the perspective view to a container, (right click view->down) which could be a powerful tool in simplifying the scene to draw/edit in complex models, does not work with the conveyor system - no conveyors are drawn.
