Drive-In Racks

Hi @Jeanette F

I wonder if there is any training model to learn drive-in racks functionality and features other than this one:

https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/56966/how-can-i-simulate-drive-in-rack-in-flexsim.html

and this one: https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/74233/warehousing-module-drivein-model.html

Thanks!

Hello @Maryam H2,

Here are a few more resources. The manual is very simple. The topics link you to more posts that involve drive in racks.

Is there something particular that you are looking for?

@Jeanette F Thanks for the response.

I'm interested in looking at the model presented in this video here: https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/31424/we-want-to-make-a-simulation-of-multideep-shuttle.html

The FlexSim model that accompanies the video appears to be from 2016, and I've noticed some differences. Specifically, I cannot locate the drive-in rack or elevator configurations designed for item placement. Are there any more recent models available that accurately depict a drive-in rack system? Or do we have any tutorial for how to model such system?

Thanks

" I cannot locate the drive-in rack or elevator configurations designed for item placement."

What does this mean?

The best way to learn is going to be to try it and see what works - try to implement what you need and come back if you get stuck.

@Jason Lightfoot Thanks for your response. I'd actually like to take a look at a sample model if possible. I'm a bit short on time and would prefer to avoid a lot of trial and error. My main goal is to quickly grasp the differences between drive-in racks and the regular ones. To clarify, I was referring to the sample model linked here: https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/31424/we-want-to-make-a-simulation-of-multideep-shuttle.html

After checking out the link, it seems I couldn't spot any drive-in racks or elevators for placing items. So, I'm still on the lookout for a sample model that does showcase drive-in racks.

@Jeanette F, if you happen to have any models like that, I'd really appreciate it if you could share them.
