The source is producing an item every 10 minutes on average. Use a smaller interval or an arrival schedule to have more items available for transport.

To guarantee that there is always an item in the queue, you can set the inter-arrival time to 0 and limit and set a maximum capacity of 1 (or some other fitting number) for the queue.

Here's a simple example. I changed the Inter-arrival time of the source to 0, so it produces an endless amount of items. I then also limited the content of the queue to 1, so it doesn't get filled with needlessly many items.
